May was an amazing first month to test our panels with. As you can see, we exceeded predicted generation by 36%.
One thing that has become apparent is the negative effect on efficiency when the panels get too warm. So, on very hot clear days, we don't always generate as much as on cooler clear days, for example when there is a strong wind.
In the graph below, the yellow line indicates the average level we needed to reach each day (14.2kWh) in order to meet the predicted monthly total. The blue line shows the average level we actually reached (19.4kWh).
